| WHEREAS, Sujana Ganganamani participated in the National | ||
| Rural Electric Cooperative Association Government-in-Action | ||
| Youth Tour in Washington, D.C., during the summer of 2023; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Selected as a Youth Tour delegate by the | ||
| Pedernales Electric Cooperative, Ms. Ganganamani joined some | ||
| 1,500 students from around the country for an all-expenses-paid | ||
| trip to the nation's capital; over the course of the program, she | ||
| learned about U.S. history and government, met with local | ||
| political representatives, and toured various historic sites, | ||
| such as Capitol Hill, the U.S. Supreme Court, and Arlington | ||
| National Cemetery; and | ||
| WHEREAS, A senior at McNeil High School in the Round Rock | ||
| Independent School District, this bright young Texan plans to | ||
| study either business or information science in college; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Sujana Ganganamani has distinguished herself as a | ||
| young leader of great promise, and she may indeed take | ||
| justifiable pride in participating in this exciting experience; | ||
| now, therefore, be it | ||
| RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 88th | ||
| Legislature, 3rd Called Session, hereby congratulate Sujana | ||
| Ganganamani on taking part in the 2023 National Rural Electric | ||
| Cooperative Association Government-in-Action Youth Tour and extend | ||
| to her sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further | ||
| RESOLVED, That an official copy of this Resolution be | ||
| prepared for Ms. Ganganamani as an expression of high regard by | ||
| the Texas Senate. | ||
