| WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to | ||
| recognize Harvey B. Hohenberger, Jr., who is retiring as | ||
| in Mount Pleasant after a distinguished career of nearly four | ||
| decades in the field of education; and | ||
| WHEREAS, | ||
| WHEREAS, As executive director of the Region 8 Educational | ||
| Service Center, Mr. Hohenberger helped implement a | ||
| performance-based curriculum that is now being used widely | ||
| across the state; and | ||
| WHEREAS, He has been active in numerous professional | ||
| organizations, including the Northeast Texas Association for | ||
| Supervision and Curriculum Development, the Texas Association of | ||
| School Administrators, and the East Texas Teacher Education | ||
| Council; and | ||
| WHEREAS, An exemplary educator and administrator, he is | ||
| respected and admired by his colleagues, and his presence at the | ||
| Region 8 Educational Service Center will be greatly missed; now, | ||
| therefore, be it | ||
| RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 82nd | ||
| Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby commend Harvey B. | ||
| Hohenberger, Jr., on his commitment to excellence in education | ||
| and extend to him best wishes for continued success in all his | ||
| endeavors; and, be it further | ||
| RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for | ||
| him as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate. | ||
