WHEREAS, Erick Hurtado of Ruben C. Rodriguez Elementary | ||
School has been named the 2014-2015 Campus Teacher of the Year; and | ||
WHEREAS, A solid education provides young Texans with the | ||
tools they need to become successful and productive adults, and | ||
those men and women who dedicate their careers to teaching are | ||
helping to ensure that the future of the Lone Star State rests in | ||
capable hands; and | ||
WHEREAS, Serving as role models, motivators, listeners, and | ||
mentors, the best teachers bring to the classroom creativity, | ||
energy, and resourcefulness, inspiring in their students a love of | ||
learning that will serve them well throughout their lives; and | ||
WHEREAS, Erick Hurtado exemplifies the qualities that are the | ||
hallmarks of a great teacher, and in so doing, he has earned the | ||
respect and admiration of his colleagues and students alike; now, | ||
therefore, be it | ||
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas | ||
Legislature hereby congratulate Erick Hurtado of Ruben | ||
C. Rodriguez Elementary School on his selection as the 2014-2015 | ||
Campus Teacher of the Year and extend to him sincere best wishes for | ||
continued success with his important work; and, be it further | ||
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
prepared for Mr. Hurtado as an expression of high regard by the | ||
Texas House of Representatives. |
