WHEREAS, Aaron Suarez of Corpus Christi has excelled in | ||
computer science during his academic career, and his achievements | ||
have been recognized by Project Lead The Way; and | ||
WHEREAS, A national nonprofit organization that develops | ||
science, technology, engineering, and math curricula, PLTW | ||
published a profile highlighting the work of this notable young | ||
Texan during Computer Science Education Week; and | ||
WHEREAS, Mr. Suarez was first inspired to learn more about | ||
computers as an elementary school student, and he went on to pursue | ||
the subject during his years at the Innovation Academy for | ||
Engineering, Environmental & Marine Science at Moody High School; | ||
following his graduation as salutatorian in 2012, he enrolled at | ||
the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where he now majors in | ||
computer science; and | ||
WHEREAS, Talented and dedicated, Aaron Suarez represents the | ||
best of the Lone Star State, and his continuing pursuit of | ||
excellence gives promise of a bright and rewarding future; now, | ||
therefore, be it | ||
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas | ||
Legislature hereby congratulate Aaron Suarez on being recognized by | ||
Project Lead The Way and extend to him sincere best wishes for | ||
continued success in all of his endeavors; and, be it further | ||
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
prepared for Mr. Suarez as an expression of high regard by the Texas | ||
House of Representatives. | ||
