R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Curtis Wren has deservedly been named Volunteer of
the Year by the Georgetown Chamber of Commerce, and this
achievement indeed merits special recognition; and
WHEREAS, A chamber member since March 2014, Mr. Wren is a
fitting recipient of this notable honor; in the past year, he has
served on the banquet planning committee and volunteered to assist
with a number of the organization's initiatives, including new
member and business showcases, member orientation, and the
Bar-Bid-Cue auction; and
WHEREAS, Those individuals who give generously of their time
and talents strengthen the communities in which they live, and it is
a pleasure to recognize Curtis Wren for his contributions to the
greater good; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Curtis Wren on his selection as
Volunteer of the Year by the Georgetown Chamber of Commerce and
extend to him sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Mr. Wren as an expression of high regard by the Texas
House of Representatives.
