| WHEREAS, Curtis Wren has deservedly been named Volunteer of | ||
| the Year by the Georgetown Chamber of Commerce, and this | ||
| achievement indeed merits special recognition; and | ||
| WHEREAS, A chamber member since March 2014, Mr. Wren is a | ||
| fitting recipient of this notable honor; in the past year, he has | ||
| served on the banquet planning committee and volunteered to assist | ||
| with a number of the organization's initiatives, including new | ||
| member and business showcases, member orientation, and the | ||
| Bar-Bid-Cue auction; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Those individuals who give generously of their time | ||
| and talents strengthen the communities in which they live, and it is | ||
| a pleasure to recognize Curtis Wren for his contributions to the | ||
| greater good; now, therefore, be it | ||
| RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas | ||
| Legislature hereby congratulate Curtis Wren on his selection as | ||
| Volunteer of the Year by the Georgetown Chamber of Commerce and | ||
| extend to him sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further | ||
| RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
| prepared for Mr. Wren as an expression of high regard by the Texas | ||
| House of Representatives. | ||
