R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, The Boo-B-Q Cook-Off is a much-anticipated event
  that takes place annually in Tomball; and
         WHEREAS, Sanctioned by the Champions Barbecue Alliance as one
  of the organization's state championship cook-offs, the
  competition attracts talented chefs from all across Texas; and
         WHEREAS, These highly skilled pitmasters are putting their
  culinary abilities to the test as they vie for top honors in several
  different categories, including chicken, ribs, pork, and brisket;
  guests have the opportunity to sample a variety of savory dishes
  while enjoying a fun, family-oriented get-together; and
         WHEREAS, Texans are noted for their love of barbecue, and the
  Boo-B-Q Cook-Off is sure to offer good food and good times to
  everyone in attendance; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas
  Legislature hereby commemorate the annual Boo-B-Q Cook-Off and
  extend to the organizers, contestants, and attendees sincere best
  wishes for a fun and successful event.
