R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Angel Salazar is graduating from Pasadena Early
  College High School on June 4, 2015; and
         WHEREAS, In undertaking the rigorous PECHS curriculum,
  Mr. Salazar has completed an accelerated course of study in which
  he has earned both a high school diploma and an associate's degree
  in mathematics from San Jacinto Community College; and
         WHEREAS, Mr. Salazar immigrated to the United States with his
  family from Monterrey, Mexico, when he was seven months old; he has
  been admitted to the Cullen College of Engineering at the main
  campus of the University of Houston, and his interest in working for
  NASA has inspired him to pursue a major in mechanical engineering;
  and
         WHEREAS, During his years at PECHS, this accomplished young
  Texan has distinguished himself through his skill and
  determination, and the knowledge and confidence he has acquired
  along the way will serve him well in the years to come; now,
  therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
  Legislature hereby congratulate Angel Salazar on his graduation
  from Pasadena Early College High School as a member of the Class of
  2015 and extend to him sincere best wishes for the future; and, be
  it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Mr. Salazar as an expression of high regard by the
  Texas House of Representatives.
