WHEREAS, The deliberations of the Texas House of | ||
Representatives during the 85th Legislative Session have been | ||
greatly aided by the outstanding work of the House Research | ||
Organization; and | ||
WHEREAS, Members of the house rely on the impartial | ||
information that the HRO provides in its "Daily Floor Report," as | ||
well as in other publications the organization publishes on | ||
significant policy issues; and | ||
WHEREAS, Operating under the leadership of director Laura | ||
Hendrickson, the HRO staff includes Lauren Ames, Rita Barr, | ||
Benjamin Davis, Blake Dawgert, Kellie Dworaczyk, Janet Elliot, | ||
Sarah Evans, Casey Floren, Alison Hern, Kody Kness, Michael | ||
Marchio, Matthew McGee, Alexa Mizer, Mackenzie Nunez, Mary | ||
Schaefer, Ryan Self, Anthony Severin, and Jason Sorensen; and | ||
WHEREAS, Facing the daunting workload of a legislative | ||
session, these resourceful professionals consistently produce | ||
invaluable analyses in a timely, accurate, and thorough manner, and | ||
in so doing, they have earned, once again, our sincere gratitude and | ||
admiration; now, therefore, be it | ||
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas | ||
Legislature hereby commend the staff of the House Research | ||
Organization for their exceptional service in behalf of the | ||
legislature and the State of Texas; and, be it further | ||
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
prepared for the House Research Organization as an expression of | ||
high regard by the Texas House of Representatives. | ||
