WHEREAS, Amanda Ramirez graduated as valedictorian of the | ||
2013 senior class at Cotulla High School, and she truly merits | ||
special recognition for her impressive achievements; and | ||
WHEREAS, Earning the title of valedictorian requires not only | ||
intellect and aptitude, but also four years of dedication to the | ||
highest academic standards; to attain this coveted distinction, | ||
Ms. Ramirez demonstrated a thorough understanding of a wide range | ||
of subjects, and the rewards of the countless hours she has devoted | ||
to her studies are myriad; and | ||
WHEREAS, Ms. Ramirez has shared her time and talents as a | ||
member of the National Honor Society and the student council, and | ||
she has participated in fund-raisers at her school and in her | ||
community; she plans to attend Texas A&M University--Kingsville and | ||
to study biomedical sciences; and | ||
WHEREAS, Amanda Ramirez has earned the respect and admiration | ||
of her teachers and classmates at Cotulla High, and her exceptional | ||
scholastic ability, hard work, and commitment to excellence have | ||
opened the way to limitless opportunities for this remarkable young | ||
Texan; now, therefore, be it | ||
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas | ||
Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby congratulate Amanda | ||
Ramirez, valedictorian of the Cotulla High School Class of 2013, | ||
and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success as she | ||
begins the next exciting chapter of her life; and, be it further | ||
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
prepared for Ms. Ramirez as an expression of high regard by the | ||
Texas House of Representatives. |
