R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Tanner Miller of Gilmer has earned great distinction
  in 2014 as a member of the Upshur County 4-H program; and
         WHEREAS, The son of Coy and Jodie Miller and a freshman at
  Union Grove High School, Mr. Miller captured several Grand Champion
  and Reserve Champion titles in the Brangus, Braford, and other
  categories at livestock shows across Texas, Oklahoma, and
  Louisiana; in addition to enjoying outstanding success during the
  2014 show season, he received the prestigious 4-H Gold Star Award at
  the District 5 Gold Star Banquet in October; and
         WHEREAS, This fine young Texan has been involved in the
  Upshur County 4-H club for the past seven years, and he currently
  serves as county council president and as a 4-H teen leader in the
  Mountaineers 4-H, Upshur 4-H Shotgunners, and Diana Busy Bees 4-H
  clubs; outside of his 4-H activities, Tanner is an active member of
  the Union Grove FFA Chapter, has played football at Union Grove High
  School and is active in his church youth group; and
         WHEREAS, Through his accomplishments and his dedication to
  the ideals of the organization, Tanner Miller has earned the
  respect and admiration of his fellow 4-H members, and he is indeed
  deserving of special recognition; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
  Legislature hereby congratulate Tanner Miller on his many
  achievements in 4-H and that he be extended sincere best wishes for
  continued success and happiness; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Mr. Miller as an expression of high regard by the Texas
  House of Representatives.
