| WHEREAS, James and Anne Weatherill of Corpus Christi | ||
| celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on December 20, 2016, and | ||
| they may indeed reflect with joy on the rewarding relationship they | ||
| have shared; and | ||
| WHEREAS, On that memorable day in 1966, Mr. and | ||
| Mrs. Weatherill exchanged the vows of matrimony at Our Lady of | ||
| Perpetual Help Church in Riverside, California, and over the course | ||
| of their marriage, they have found in each other a loving life | ||
| partner; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Weatherill count among their blessings | ||
| a fine family that includes their two daughters and two grandsons, | ||
| with whom they treasure spending many special occasions; and | ||
| WHEREAS, For half a century, James and Anne Weatherill have | ||
| brought to their marriage laughter, kindness, and devotion, and it | ||
| is a pleasure to honor them for their enduring commitment; now, | ||
| therefore, be it | ||
| RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas | ||
| Legislature hereby congratulate James and Anne Weatherill on their | ||
| golden wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes | ||
| for the future; and, be it further | ||
| RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
| prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Weatherill as an expression of high | ||
| regard by the Texas House of Representatives. | ||
