WHEREAS, During the 82nd Legislative Session, Rachel Pace has | ||
ably served her fellow Texans as an intern in the office of State | ||
Representative Van Taylor; and | ||
WHEREAS, Since joining the staff in October 2010, Ms. Pace | ||
has contributed to the workings of state government firsthand; | ||
known for her ever-present smile, she has greeted visitors and met | ||
and corresponded with constituents and representatives of interest | ||
groups, and her dedicated efforts to organize messages have earned | ||
her the affectionate nickname "CMS Goddess"; and | ||
WHEREAS, Ms. Pace, who is currently in her first year of | ||
studies at The University of Texas, has also helped the office by | ||
taking a leading role in the organization of more than 2,000 replies | ||
to a constituent survey, entering all of the responses into a | ||
spreadsheet and codifying the results; and | ||
WHEREAS, Rachel Pace has performed her duties as a | ||
legislative intern with skill and dedication, and she is indeed | ||
deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now, therefore, | ||
be it | ||
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas | ||
Legislature hereby commend Rachel Pace for her service as a | ||
legislative intern in the office of State Representative Van Taylor | ||
and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success in all | ||
her future endeavors; and, be it further | ||
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
prepared for Ms. Pace as an expression of high regard by the Texas | ||
House of Representatives. | ||
