WHEREAS, Sylvia Bartles of Dessau Elementary School has been | ||
named a 2014-2015 Campus Teacher of the Year by the Pflugerville | ||
Independent School District; and | ||
WHEREAS, A solid education provides young Texans with the | ||
tools they need to become successful and productive adults, and | ||
those men and women who dedicate their careers to teaching are | ||
helping to ensure that the future of the Lone Star State rests in | ||
capable hands; and | ||
WHEREAS, Serving as role models, motivators, listeners, and | ||
mentors, the best teachers bring to the classroom creativity, | ||
energy, and resourcefulness, inspiring in their students a love of | ||
learning that will serve them well throughout their lives; and | ||
WHEREAS, Sylvia Bartles exemplifies the qualities that are | ||
the hallmarks of a great teacher, and she has earned the respect and | ||
admiration of her colleagues and students alike; now, therefore, be | ||
it | ||
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas | ||
Legislature hereby congratulate Sylvia Bartles on her selection as | ||
the 2014-2015 Dessau Elementary School Teacher of the Year and | ||
extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success with her | ||
important work; and, be it further | ||
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
prepared for Ms. Bartles as an expression of high regard by the | ||
Texas House of Representatives. |
