R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Eric Hill of Nazareth High School achieved great
distinction by participating in the 2019 University
Interscholastic League Track & Field State Meet; and
WHEREAS, Joining the other top high school competitors in
Texas at Mike A. Myers Stadium in Austin on May 10 and 11, Mr. Hill
competed in the 1A 400-meter dash and finished in fifth place; and
WHEREAS, By earning the right to compete as one of the elite
track and field athletes in the Lone Star State, Eric Hill has ably
represented his school, and he may indeed reflect with pride on his
notable accomplishments; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 86th Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Eric Hill on participating in the
1A 400-meter dash at the 2019 UIL Track & Field State Meet and
extend to him sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Mr. Hill as an expression of high regard by the Texas
House of Representatives.
