WHEREAS, Tyler Reese Blakey has ably served his fellow Texans | ||
as an intern in the office of State Representative Jason Isaac | ||
during the 84th Legislative Session; and | ||
WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Mr. Blakey has provided | ||
vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks; | ||
in addition to learning more about the legislative process and the | ||
issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State, he has gained | ||
valuable experience in the field of public service; and | ||
WHEREAS, Mr. Blakey is majoring in political science, with a | ||
minor in music, at Texas State University, where he is president of | ||
Phi Alpha Delta, a prelaw fraternity; a talented musician, he has | ||
played guitar, drums, and banjo and sung lead vocals at Sunset | ||
Canyon Baptist Church in Dripping Springs since 2008; and | ||
WHEREAS, This outstanding young Texan has performed his | ||
duties as a legislative intern with skill and dedication, and he is | ||
indeed deserving of special recognition for his fine work; now, | ||
therefore, be it | ||
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas | ||
Legislature hereby commend Tyler Reese Blakey for his service as a | ||
legislative intern in the office of State Representative Jason | ||
Isaac and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued success in | ||
all his endeavors; and, be it further | ||
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
prepared for Mr. Blakey as an expression of high regard by the Texas | ||
House of Representatives. | ||
