R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Anthony Haiduk and Ashlynn Howell of White Deer High
  School were among the top winners at the 2020 National FFA
  Agriscience Fair; and
         WHEREAS, Middle and high school students from across the
  country participated in the contest by using scientific principles
  and emerging technologies to solve complex problems related to
  agriculture, food, and natural resources; competing in Division 4
  of the food products and processing systems category, Mr. Haiduk
  and Ms. Howell were recognized as national finalists for their team
  project, "How Clean is Clean?"; the pair previously was awarded
  first place in their division at the Texas FFA Agriscience Fair in
  July 2020; along the way, these talented young Texans benefited
  from the guidance of White Deer agriculture teacher, Mark Arnold;
  and
         WHEREAS, With their impressive showing at the National FFA
  Agriscience Fair, Anthony Haiduk and Ashlynn Howell have brought
  great credit to their school, and they may take justifiable pride in
  the skill and dedication they have demonstrated; now, therefore, be
  it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas
  Legislature hereby congratulate Anthony Haiduk and Ashlynn Howell
  on their outstanding presentation at the 2020 National FFA
  Agriscience Fair and extend to them sincere best wishes for
  continued success; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That official copies of this resolution be prepared
  for Mr. Haiduk and Ms. Howell as an expression of high regard by the
  Texas House of Representatives.
