R E S O L U T I O N
 
         WHEREAS, Allissa Palmer of Stratford High School has achieved
  notable success in the 2012-2013 University Interscholastic League
  Academic State Meet; and
         WHEREAS, Competing against some of the brightest students in
  the Lone Star State, Ms. Palmer earned a bronze medal for her strong
  performance in the Lincoln-Douglas debate; and
         WHEREAS, Through her hard work and commitment to excellence,
  Allissa Palmer has distinguished herself in statewide competition,
  and her accomplishments are a source of pride to her family and
  friends; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas
  Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby congratulate Allissa
  Palmer on earning the bronze medal in the Lincoln-Douglas debate at
  the 2012-2013 UIL Academic State Meet and extend to her sincere best
  wishes for continued success; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Ms. Palmer as an expression of high regard by the Texas
  House of Representatives.
