| WHEREAS, Allissa Palmer of Stratford High School has achieved | ||
| notable success in the 2012-2013 University Interscholastic League | ||
| Academic State Meet; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Competing against some of the brightest students in | ||
| the Lone Star State, Ms. Palmer earned a bronze medal for her strong | ||
| performance in the Lincoln-Douglas debate; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Through her hard work and commitment to excellence, | ||
| Allissa Palmer has distinguished herself in statewide competition, | ||
| and her accomplishments are a source of pride to her family and | ||
| friends; now, therefore, be it | ||
| RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas | ||
| Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby congratulate Allissa | ||
| Palmer on earning the bronze medal in the Lincoln-Douglas debate at | ||
| the 2012-2013 UIL Academic State Meet and extend to her sincere best | ||
| wishes for continued success; and, be it further | ||
| RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
| prepared for Ms. Palmer as an expression of high regard by the Texas | ||
| House of Representatives. | ||
