WHEREAS, Jose Gregorio Esparza III of Hidalgo Early College | ||
High School is the recipient of a 2019 U.S. Border Patrol Head of | ||
the Class Award; and | ||
WHEREAS, For the past 21 years, the Rio Grande Valley Sector | ||
Border Patrol has recognized outstanding high school seniors for | ||
their excellent academic achievements and significant community | ||
service; and | ||
WHEREAS, Mr. Esparza was honored for being an accomplished, | ||
well-rounded student who is active in his school as well as the | ||
greater Hidalgo community; furthermore, he is committed to | ||
promoting a drug-free lifestyle and serving as a role model for his | ||
younger siblings; and | ||
WHEREAS, Exciting challenges and opportunities await this | ||
exceptional young man, and he may indeed take great pride in his | ||
achievements as he embarks on a future bright with promise; now, | ||
therefore, be it | ||
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 86th Texas | ||
Legislature hereby congratulate Jose Gregorio Esparza III on his | ||
receipt of a 2019 U.S. Border Patrol Head of the Class Award and | ||
extend to him sincere best wishes for continued success; and, be it | ||
further | ||
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
prepared for Mr. Esparza as an expression of high regard by the | ||
Texas House of Representatives. |
