| WHEREAS, Cade Skuza of Jasper High School distinguished | ||
| himself by winning first place in the Boys B singles division of the | ||
| Legacy High School Tennis Tournament, held on March 6, 2015, in | ||
| Beaumont; and | ||
| WHEREAS, A sophomore, Mr. Skuza claimed the tournament crown | ||
| with an impressive performance that saw him defeat five opponents | ||
| from other area schools; and | ||
| WHEREAS, This determined athlete won three of his first four | ||
| matches by a comfortable margin, with his victory over Saalik | ||
| Dhanani of Nederland being the only close contest; he then finished | ||
| the tournament with a 6-3, 6-2 triumph in the finals; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Through his skill and dedication to excellence, Cade | ||
| Skuza has established himself as a high school tennis player of | ||
| great promise, and he may take justifiable pride in his | ||
| achievement; now, therefore, be it | ||
| RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas | ||
| Legislature hereby congratulate Cade Skuza on his first place | ||
| finish at the Legacy High School Tennis Tournament and extend to him | ||
| sincere best wishes for continued success; and, be it further | ||
| RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
| prepared for Mr. Skuza as an expression of high regard by the Texas | ||
| House of Representatives. | ||
