WHEREAS, CowParade features the work of local artists and
raises funds for partner charities in each city that hosts its
varied and eclectic displays of bovine statuary; the first

exhibits have appeared in 75 cities in 30 countries and have raised
  more than $30 million; and
WHEREAS, CowParade Austin will feature about 100 cow
sculptures created by artists from the community; after the

at a gala scheduled for October 30, 2011; and
WHEREAS, The Dell Children's Medical Center of Central Texas

benefiting a vital medical resource; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas
