R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Family and friends will long cherish their memories
  of Linda Fincher Nevil of Anna, who passed away on June 2, 2020, at
  the age of 73; and
         WHEREAS, The daughter of William and Martha Fincher, the
  former Linda Fincher was born on February 25, 1947, in Shreveport,
  Louisiana, and grew up with three sisters, Nancy, Martha, and
  Debbie; she graduated from Baylor University in 1969 and spent most
  of her life in the Dallas area; and
         WHEREAS, In all her endeavors, Mrs. Nevil was blessed with
  the love and support of her husband, Mike Nevil, with whom she
  shared a rewarding marriage that spanned half a century; she was the
  devoted mother of two children, Brad and Celeste, and she took great
  pride in her grandchildren, who affectionately called her "Gran
  Gran"; a woman of strong faith, she believed deeply in the power of
  prayer, and she brightened many lives with her beautiful smile and
  angelic voice; and
         WHEREAS, Linda Nevil showered those she held dear with
  unconditional love, and she leaves behind a legacy of kindness and
  compassion that will continue to inspire all who were fortunate
  enough to know her; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas
  Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Linda Fincher Nevil
  and extend heartfelt sympathy to her relatives and friends; and, be
  it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of
  Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Linda
  Nevil.
