A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
 
AN ACT
 
  relating to the jurisdiction of the statutory county courts of
  Potter County in family law matters.
         BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
         SECTION 1.  Section 25.1902(b), Government Code, is amended
  to read as follows:
         (b)  A county court at law in [The County Court at Law No.   2
  of] Potter County [also] has concurrent jurisdiction with the
  district court in family law cases and proceedings.
         SECTION 2.  This Act takes effect September 1, 2017.
