relating to clarification of any Fire Marshals of a city, town, or | ||
village who are licensed peace officers. | ||
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | ||
Title 1. Code of Criminal Procedures, Chapter 2, General | ||
Duties of Officers, Article 2.12. Who are Peace Officers, is | ||
amended to read as follows: | ||
Section (3) marshals, police officers, fire marshals and | ||
any related officers, investigators or inspectors of an | ||
incorporated city, town, or village who hold a permanent peace | ||
officer license issued under Chapter 1701, Occupations Code. | ||
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2023. |
