| BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | ||
| SECTION 1. Section 501.260, Occupations Code, is amended by | ||
| adding Subsection (d) to read as follows: | ||
| (d) A person who is licensed under this section may provide | ||
| school psychological services under the supervision of a | ||
| psychologist licensed under Section 501.252 in a clinical setting. | ||
| For purposes of this subsection, a clinical setting is not required | ||
| to be a public school. | ||
| SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2017. | ||
