| BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | ||
| SECTION 1. Section 86.013, Election Code, is amended by | ||
| adding Subsection (h) to read as follows: | ||
| (h) Any reference to a political party may only be indicated | ||
| on a carrier envelope used for a ballot to be voted by mail in a | ||
| partisan primary election. | ||
| SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2021. | ||
