| BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | ||
| SECTION 1. Section 22.074, Transportation Code, is amended | ||
| by adding Subsection (f) to read as follows: | ||
| (f) Notwithstanding the exceptions provided by Section | ||
| 2269.402, Government Code, a joint board may use the job order | ||
| contracts method under Subchapter I, Chapter 2269, Government Code, | ||
| for a project described by Subsection (c). | ||
| SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2017. | ||
