No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would have the department notify the parent's attorney of certain information for a child in the managing conservatorship of the department. The bill would also require the department to notify within 48 hours instead of 10 days, when the department becomes aware of a significant event affecting the child.
