No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Election Code to require the Secretary of State (SOS) to conduct a study of the accuracy of the statewide computerized voter registration list and to deliver a report to the Legislature on the findings of this study.
It is assumed that any costs at SOS related to conducting the required study or developing the required report could be absorbed by the agency using existing resources.
