HB2983 by Hull (Relating to medical examinations for certain children entering the conservatorship of the Department of Family and Protective Services.), As Introduced |
No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend Family Code to identify which children may receive an initial medical examination as well as update a report to include the number of medical examinations and the reason for each one.
Based on analysis of the Department of Family and Protective Services, it is assumed that the costs associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be absorbed within existing resources.
