Summary

As enacted, enacts the "Innovative School District Act," which authorizes a public university in this state that is a comprehensive doctoral-extensive institution of higher learning, is the home to a public training school compendium that includes Pre-K through any of the grades nine through 12, and that meets certain criteria to operate an innovative school district. - Amends TCA Title 4; Title 5; Title 6; Title 7; Title 8; Title 9; Title 37; Title 49; Title 50; Title 66 and Title 67.
