Summary

As enacted, prohibits a member of a county legislative body, who is also an employee of the county or whose spouse is such an employee, from voting on matters in which such member has a conflict of interest; requires each vote taken by a county legislative body that has the effect of increasing the pay or benefits of county employees to be by recorded electronic vote or by roll call vote; makes related changes. - Amends TCA Title 5, Chapter 5.
