Summary

As introduced, prohibits the manufacture, distribution, sale, or transfer of an 80 percent frame or 80 percent receiver on or after July 1, 2024, without a manufacturer's serial number prominently stamped on the item or on a piece of metal securely affixed to the item; creates the Class A misdemeanor of manufacturing, distributing, selling, or transferring an 80 percent frame or 80 percent receiver without a serial number prominently stamped on the item or on a piece of metal securely affixed thereto, which is punishable by a $5,000 fine. - Amends TCA Title 4; Title 38 and Title 39.
