Summary

As introduced, permits a candidate who has been assessed a civil penalty by the registry of election finance in an amount in excess of $5,000 to make installment payments; requires ouster proceedings be initiated if after the qualifying deadline the candidate fails to make payments in accordance with the agreement entered into with the registry. - Amends TCA Title 2 and Title 8.
