Summary

As introduced, requires the department of commerce and insurance to develop a common summary of payments form for use by carriers and provided to insureds with respect to provider claims submitted to a payer; specifies the manner in which carriers can offer delivery of the summary to certain individuals; requires the department to issue guidance and provide, in collaboration with the department of health, education to providers and consumers on these requirements. - Amends TCA Title 4; Title 8; Title 56; Title 63 and Title 68.
