Summary

As enacted, clarifies that the board of trustees of the baccalaureate education system trust fund program may contract with financial consultants, actuaries, auditors, investment managers and other consultants and professionals; provides that the trustees of certain deferred or tax sheltered compensation plans are expressly authorized to contract for investment management services, personal services, professional services and consultant services for the deferred compensation programs. - Amends TCA Title 8, Chapter 25, Part 1 and Title 49, Chapter 7, Part 8.
