Summary

As enacted, extends present law criminal penalties for making nonemergency 911 calls to apply to all nonemergency contacts with 911; removes authorization for a public safety answering point (PSAP) or an emergency communications district to authorize a provider of non-wireline service to divert harassing noninitialized 911 phone calls to an entity designated by the emergency communications board to receive such calls. - Amends TCA Section 7-86-316.
