Summary

As introduced, increases from 15 to 30, the days in advance of a hearing concerning a proposed landfill approval that the county legislative body or the municipal governing body, or both, and the proposed landfill owner, must circulate notice of the hearing; increases from a three-mile radius to a 20-mile radius, the area in which the proposed landfill owner must provide notice by signs being erected on roads in that area leading directly to the proposed landfill site. - Amends TCA Title 68, Chapter 211.
