Summary

As introduced, requires a health benefit plan to provide coverage and reimbursement for prosthetic and custom orthotic devices in a manner that equals or exceeds the levels of coverage and reimbursement for such devices under the federal medicare program and is no more restrictive than coverage of and reimbursement for other medical devices provided under the health benefit plan. - Amends TCA Title 8; Title 47; Title 56 and Title 71.
