Summary

As introduced, requires the presiding officer of a county legislative body to provide at least 10 days' rather than seven days' public notice in a newspaper of general circulation in the county of a meeting of the legislative body to fill a vacancy in an office for which the legislative body is required to fill. - Amends TCA Title 5; Title 6; Title 7; Title 8; Title 9; Title 12; Title 13; Title 66 and Title 67.
