Summary

As introduced, requires state and local elections for public office to be partisan elections; requires judges who are required by this state's constitution to be reelected at retention elections to declare a bona fide membership with a political party or independent status at least 30 days prior to a retention election. - Amends TCA Title 2; Title 3; Title 4; Title 5; Title 6; Title 7; Title 8; Title 16; Title 17 and Title 49.
