A bill

TO AMEND THE SOUTH CAROLINA CODE OF LAWS BY AMENDING SECTION 17-5-130, RELATING TO CORONER QUALIFICATIONS, SO AS TO INCLUDE LICENSED PARAMEDICS WITH AT LEAST THREE YEARS OF EXPERIENCE AS ONE OF THE ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS A CORONER MUST HAVE.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

SECTION 1.   Section 17-5-130(A)(2) of the S.C. Code is amended by adding subitem (h) to read:

         (h) have at least three years of experience as a licensed paramedic.

SECTION 2.   This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
