A BILL TO AMEND SECTION 9-8-20, AS AMENDED, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO THE ESTABLISHMENT OF THE RETIREMENT SYSTEM FOR JUDGES AND SOLICITORS OF THE STATE OF SOUTH CAROLINA, SO AS TO PROVIDE THAT A PERSON ASSUMING THE OFFICE OF ATTORNEY GENERAL OF THIS STATE AFTER 2010, MUST BE A MEMBER OF THAT RETIREMENT SYSTEM AND TO MAKE THE NECESSARY PROVISIONS FOR THE ATTORNEY GENERAL TO BECOME A MEMBER OF THE RETIREMENT SYSTEM FOR JUDGES AND SOLICITORS OF THE STATE OF SOUTH CAROLINA.

Provide That A Person Assuming The Office Of Attorney General Of This State After 2010, Must Be A Member Of That Retirement System And To Make The Necessary Provisions For The Attorney General To Become A Member Of The Retirement System For Judges And Solicitors Of The State Of South Carolina.
