Summary

Amend Article 1, Chapter 27, Title 58 Of The 1976 Code, Relating To General Provisions For Electric Utilities And Electric Cooperatives, By Adding Section 58-27-260, To Provide That The Department Of Health And Environmental Control Shall Charge A Surcharge Of Thirty Dollars Per Ton On Any Coal Combustion Residuals Transferred To A Landfill In A County With A Population Of Fewer Than Nineteen Thousand Five Hundred, And To Provide For The Collection, Retention, And Expenditure Of This Surcharge.
