Summary

Provide That The Executive Director Of The State Election Commission Shall Appoint A Director Of Elections And Registration In Each County, To Provide That The Director Is A State Employee Of The State Election Commission, And To Provide For The Duties Of The Director; To Provide For The Transferring Of Certain Duties To The County Offices Of Director Of Elections And Registration; And To Provide For Office Space And Other Employees Of The Office To Be Funded By The Several Counties; To Direct The Code Commissioner To Correct References To Former Boards And Commissions To Reflect The Transfer Of These Entities; And To Repeal Section 7-5-10 And Article 2, Chapter 27, Title 7 Relating To County Boards Of Registration And Election Commissions.
