Summary
Amend The Code Of Laws Of South Carolina, 1976, By Adding Section 56-2-2750 So As To Provide That The Department Of Motor Vehicles Shall Implement A Procedure Whereby It Collects Motor Vehicle Property Taxes Owed To Local Governments At The Same Time A Person Registers A Vehicle, To Provide That The Department Shall Remit The Funds Collected To The Appropriate Governmental Entities, And To Provide That The Department May Collect A Fee For Providing This Service.
