| AN ACT |
| |
1 | Designating an interchange at the intersection of Routes 136 and |
2 | I-70, Washington County, as the Officer John David Dryer |
3 | Memorial Interchange. |
4 | The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania |
5 | hereby enacts as follows: |
6 | Section 1. Officer John David Dryer Memorial Interchange. |
7 | (a) Redesignation.--The section of highway located at exit |
8 | 20 at the intersection of Routes 136 and I-70 in Washington |
9 | County, formerly known as "Beau Street Interchange," is |
10 | redesignated and shall be known as the Officer John David Dryer |
11 | Memorial Interchange in honor of the late John David Dryer, |
12 | prominent local veterinarian and East Washington Borough police |
13 | officer, who was killed in the line of duty as a borough police |
14 | officer. |
15 | (b) Signs.--The Department of Transportation shall erect and |
16 | maintain appropriate signs which shall display the name of the |
17 | interchange designated in subsection (a). |
18 | Section 2. Effective date. |
19 | This act shall take effect in 60 days. |
