AN ACT

Amending Title 5 (Athletics and Sports) of the Pennsylvania

2

Consolidated Statutes, providing for the Amateur Boxing

3

Assistance Account.

The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania

5

hereby enacts as follows:

Section 1.  Title 5 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes

7

is amended by adding a section to read:

8

§ 1115.  Amateur Boxing Assistance Account.

9

Fifty cents from each ticket sold for a professional boxing

10

contest or exhibition shall be paid into the Amateur Boxing

11

Assistance Account, which shall be a special restricted receipt

12

account within the General Fund. The account shall be used only

13

for the purpose of providing financial assistance to any

14

organization that promotes amateur boxing.

15

Section 2.  This act shall take effect in 60 days.
