AN ACT
1Amending the act of May 1, 1933 (P.L.103, No.69), entitled, as
2reenacted and amended, "An act concerning townships of the
3second class; and amending, revising, consolidating and
4changing the law relating thereto," in contracts, further
5providing for letting contracts.
6The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
7hereby enacts as follows:
8Section 1. Section 3102(h)(8) of the act of May 1, 1933
9(P.L.103, No.69), known as The Second Class Township Code,
10reenacted and amended November 9, 1995 (P.L.350, No.60) and
11amended April 12, 2012 (P.L.234, No.30), is amended to read:
12Section 3102. Letting Contracts.--* * *
13(h) The contracts or purchases made by the board of
14supervisors involving payments in excess of the required
15advertising amount, which do not require advertising, bidding or
16price quotations are as follows:

18(8) Those for used equipment, articles, apparatus,
1appliances, vehicles or parts thereof being purchased from a
2public utility, municipal corporation, county, school district,
3municipality authority, council of government or Federal or
4State Government.

6Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
