Summary
An Act amending the act of April 12, 1951 (P.L.90, No.21), known as the Liquor Code, in preliminary provisions, further providing for definitions; in Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board, further providing for general powers of the board; in Pennsylvania Liquor Stores, further providing for when sales may be made at Pennsylvania Liquor Stores and for sales by Pennsylvania Liquor Stores; providing for licensed package stores; in licenses and regulations and liquor, alcohol and malt and brewed beverages, further providing for authority to issue liquor licenses to hotels, restaurants and clubs, for issuance, transfer or extension of hotel, restaurant and club liquor licenses, for sales by liquor licensees and restrictions, for malt and brewed beverages manufacturers', distributors' and importing distributors' licenses, for malt and brewed beverages retail licenses, for number and kinds of licenses allowed same licensee, for licenses not assignable and transfers, for revocation and suspension of licenses and fines, for responsible alcohol management and for unlawful acts relative to liquor, malt and brewed beverages and licensees; providing for privatization of wholesale liquor distribution; in disposition of moneys collected under provisions of act, further providing for moneys paid into Liquor License Fund and returned to municipalities and for moneys paid into the State Stores Fund for use of the Commonwealth and providing for Public Education Legislative Initiative Fund; imposing duties on the Department of General Services; and making a related repeal.
